Camera, Tea, and Sand Castles

This is about the most random blog post that I've done in awhile! It's been a crazy past few weeks, and my body is running on a combination of 5 hours of sleep, 3 whole meals, and 5 cups of coffee in the span of 2 days!! Not kidding.

Anyway, most important things first......I GOT A NEW CAMERA!!!!!! And it's pretty. And it's big. And it's fancy lookin. And it's sweet. And I just happen to feel like a rockstar with this camera around my neck......that's how proud I am of this thing. I'm still working on naming him, but haven't thought of the perfect name yet.
Check out this first pic!!...This is how sweet my camera is. These chocolates are from a store called 'DeBrands'....apparently it's only known back in my hometown, because all my college friends think I am utterly insane for spending $6 for a small chocolate bar. But they just don't understand the relationship I have with DeBrands.
And just incase you didn't know.....I have officially changed my major to 'Chocolate Photographer' and I'm getting a minor in 'Chocolate Tasting'....oh how I wish.

I love tea. Something about it makes me feel like an adult. Tea reminds me of either old people or else Japan; I'm weird, I know! Tea....there is just something so soothing about it. It's perfect for a fall afternoon while sitting outside. It's perfect for a day when you've been sick and laying in bed all day. It's perfect to drink at a tea party themed bridal shower too!

Please excuse the next picture....I believe my facial expression has to do again with the combination of 5 hours of sleep, 3 whole meals, and 5 cups of coffee in the span of 2 days!!
As an RA (Resident Assistant) I am required to host events for the residents on my floor. Today we had a Sand Castle Building Contest!! Perfect day for it....72 degrees and it had rained yesterday, so the sand was perfect for playing in!
I think I enjoy being a kid wayyy too much! Playing in the sand was the best way to cool down after a long day at work while not having sleep or food, just coffee.

I hope YOU have a wonderful day! Peace Out!
